Racing Abandoned at Puerto Portals 52 Super Series - Day 1 - No Wind

After waiting until 3:00pm for the breeze to kick in, Principal Race Officer, Maria Torrijo, has hoisted the AP over A flag to indicate that racing had been abandoned for the day due to lack of breeze.

The fleet of ten TP52s stayed in the docks and will have to wait until 1:00pm (CEST) tomorrow to commence the event, the fourth in the 2018 52 Super Series. The forecast for tomorrow is for a light thermal breeze however conditions could also be similar to today where a light gradient wind from the north east encountered thermal breeze from the south west and created a situation of dead calm on Palma Bay.

All eyes are on the anemometer in the hope that conditions will allow the ten TP52s, the world's leading monohull racing fleet, to hit the water tomorrow, fingers crossed.
