The Spanish father and son team of Nico and Pedro Martinez took the final two places in the top five. Nico Martinez was fourth with his image of Spanish RS:X sailor Ivan Pastor competing in the 44 Trofeo Princesa Sofia on the Bay of Palma, Mallorca.
This is what Pedro had to say about his photo of Roman Konstantinov/ GAZPROM 2 (RUS7), below:

"My father and I have been producing the RC44 Championship Tour 2013 book and we couldn’t come with a cover image that expressed exactly what we wanted. I was covering the event in Cascais, with only one more event left after that one, and I was certain I would get the image we wanted. The weather was perfect during the week, with great wind conditions and big waves. Finally, I was able to inmortalise in one instant all the great moments experienced during that week, and also the soul of the RC44 class."
