Another Solo Sprint For Kiwis - ETNZ V Artemis (DNS) Louis Vuitton Cup - RR4, Race 3

Emirates Team New Zealand sailed unopposed today in the final race of Round 4 of the Louis Vuitton Cup, the America’s Cup Challenger Series. With replacement helmsman Glenn Ashby giving skipper Dean Barker a breather for the day, the Kiwi team completed the five-leg course in 30 minutes, 32 seconds.

Ashby recorded a top speed of 33.8 knots, more than 10 knots less than Aotearoa’s top speed of 44.15 knots. But the wind averaged 13 knots today, compared to 15 knots on July 18 when the top speed was posted.
