In vile wet and windless conditions Tony Kirby's X-Yacht 41 has proven to be the glamour girl of the regatta by taking victory in the Commodore's Cup.

Crews donned plenty of thermals and wet weather gear for the third day in a row of overcast and wet conditions to be greeted by no wind and in the end racing was abandoned.

No doubt tonight's BBQ will be fuelled by plenty of rum with the knowledge that tomorrow is a lay day before the action starts on Friday with the big IRC guns coming out to play. The NSW IRC Championships will feature one less TP52 after Shogun V suffered damage during the delivery from Brisbane.
