On the last day, finally the sun and an easterly wind of nearly 20 knots and waves created the perfect setting for the 17-strong Melges 32 fleet to take on three more races. The ending was incredible, because of the early morning, no one could have imagined such an overwhelming showdown. In conclusion, there was a lot of fun and satisfaction in the eyes of every owner and their crews, beyond the individual results.

Winner of the first stage of the season is the defending champion Lanfranco Cirillo with Michele Paoletti as tactician aboard Fantastica. Today, thanks to a first, third and sixth, Cirillo's Fantastica made certain to keep a safe distance from Vincenzo Onorato's Mascalzone Latino with Olympic medallist Nathan Wilmot as tactician. Onorato had some satisfaction of victory by winning the last race of the event ensuring second place overall.

In third is Rush Diletta helmed by Mauro Mocchegiani with tactician Matteo Ivaldi. They were by far the most consistent team discarding an eighth place finish in race two of the Marina di Loano edition. Standing just outside the podium is Edoardo Lupi's Torpyone who got the chance to discard the DSQ they received yesterday. Spain's Marc de Antonio aboard Bribon-Movistar came fifth and Filippo Pacinotti's Brontolo HH finished sixth overall.
