It appears that the Australian TP52 fleet is set to swell with another MedCup boat being added to the local fleet. A Melbourne consortium are currently in Palma de Mallorca looking to negotiate a deal.

Designed by Judel-Vrolijk, built at Green Marine (England) and launched in 2011, Container is the sister ship to RÀN. The boat competed successfully in the Audi MedCup Series in 2011 with a  professional crew led by Markus Wieser on the helm, Hamish Pepper and Hartwell Jordan. Container won the 2011 Audi MedCup Marseilles Trophy and the finished the season fourth overall after five events.

This will make for some very interesting competition amongst the other new generation TP52s like Hooligan (ex ETNZ), Shogun V (ex Audi Azzurra) and Georgia who are all set to compete in the  Australian IRC Championships at Hamilton island in August.
